If your injury is being managed as part of a WorkSafe or TAC claim, we can help.
Accidents happen – if you’re involved in a transport or workplace accident, it’s important that you get the support you need. Seeing an allied health professional may offer injured workers and road users with a number of benefits, including:
Tradesmen can be at high risk of injuries from their work and can experience back pain, neck pain, sciatica, strains, muscle stress and strain from falls and heavy lifting. Acute injuries can cause severe pain and can affect their quality of life.
Chronic pain is a common complaint from tradesmen and is often associated with a specific injury from the past, but can also be a combination of non-work-related factors. Chronic pain management is vital in order to improve your overall quality of life.
As far as work injury treatment goes, there is a wide range of methods to relieve chronic pain to suit different needs, such as massage, chiropractic, medications, acupuncture, exercise, physical therapy, nerve stimulation and more.
If you would like to seek a work injury treatment, book an appointment with one of our allied health professionals, including Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Podiatrists.
If you have been involved in a transport accident, you may have sustained a serious injury to virtually any part of your body. After the accident, it is not uncommon to experience back pain, neck pain, whiplash, knee pain, foot and ankle pain, shoulder pain, hand and wrist pain, and soft tissue injuries (such as sprains, strains, and bruising).
Acute injuries can cause severe pain and affect your quality of life. Chronic pain is a common complaint when people do not receive appropriate treatment after being involved in a transport accident, but it can also appear down the track even if you thought the injury was properly treated at the time. Chronic pain management is vital for improving overall quality of life.

Call and make an appointment with one of our fully-qualified sport massage experts to see a difference. If you’re being treated under TAC or WorkCover insurance, you’ll receive a claim number. Employers obtain WorkCover insurance (through WorkSafe Victoria) to cover their employees in the event of injury. WorkSafe compensates employees who have suffered an injury at their workplace or elsewhere if the injury is related to their work.
You must notify your employer of an injury as soon as possible. Your employer will then report to WorkCover in order to qualify you for rehabilitation programs (such as physiotherapy). Failing to report your injury to your employer within 30 days may result in loss of compensation entitlements.
The TAC is a government organisation that assists those who have been injured on the road. Victorians pay for TAC coverage as a part of their car registration. In the first 90 days after your accident, the TAC can help pay for treatment without the need to contact them for approval first.
You or your provider will need to contact the TAC for approval if it’s approaching more than 90 days since your accident and further treatment has not yet been approved or if it has been more than six months since you’ve had any treatment or service paid for by the TAC.
