Boon Ozawa
B.HSc (Acupuncture)
ACUPUNCTURIST
Boon is a New Zealand–born practitioner with Japanese heritage, holding a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture. With over six years of experience, he focuses on treating musculoskeletal injuries using a holistic approach that looks beyond symptoms to address underlying causes.
With a lifelong background in competitive sport, Boon understands the demands of performance and recovery. His own experience with injury led him to acupuncture, shaping his approach to care by considering factors such as movement, stress, and overall wellbeing.
Inspired by his grandfather, who practiced acupuncture in Japan for over 70 years, Boon combines traditional techniques with modern methods including cupping, dry needling, electro-acupuncture, and deep tissue massage. He tailors each treatment to support effective recovery and long-term results.
Boon works with a range of conditions including acute and persistent pain, sciatica, stress and fatigue, fertility and menstrual concerns, allergies, and digestive issues.
