At Muscle Joint Bone our physiotherapists work with people of all ages and activity levels; addressing the cause of your pain, not just the symptoms.
We provide treatment for rehabilitation of sporting injuries, as well as treatment to improve posture or strength, assist with recovery from surgery, prevent injury, maintain mobility and assist those who suffer from a chronic condition.
Our qualified physios treat a range of conditions which cause pain and reduced mobility, and aim to restore function, as well as assist with pain management.
We’re extensively trained in manual therapy, which means we’re “hands on” with our patients. Treatment can incorporate massage, joint mobilisation, manipulation, and muscle stretching through a wide variety of techniques including dry needling, trigger point release, clinical pilates and more.

In Australia, physiotherapy is considered an allied health profession. Medicare rebates are generally not available for visits to the physiotherapist. However, Medicare will cover treatment for those with chronic medical conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Scheme (CDM). The CDM is a government incentive that allows individuals with a chronic medical illness or condition to receive Medicare rebates for a maximum of five allied health services each calendar year. A chronic medical condition is one that has been present for six months or longer. Your GP will prepare an Enhance Primary Care (EPC) and refer you to an allied practitioner such as Muscle Joint Bone if you qualify for treatment.
If you have the appropriate level of private health insurance cover, you will receive a rebate for your physiotherapy consultation. To learn whether your health fund will cover your phsyio appointment, call our clinic today.
